A message from God to You… Don’t allow the ignorance of any man, even a president, to bring out the least in you. What profit anyone to gain the whole world at the cost of one's soul? Moreover, what is the point of being right, if you destroy yourself, and others in the process? There are times when one must cautiously choose one’s battles. In years past, the question was “who do you love?” In today’s world, the question has become, “What do you love and why do you love it?” My question to you is, “What do you stand for?”
God’s word says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Now, in 2018, it appears that turning a blind eye to the truth is national past time. If you just watch FOX news, it seems that if the price is right, living a lie is becoming a very easy thing to do. Never have I seen so many people be comfortable with mediocrity for less of a reason. Proverbs 4:7 says, Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. But for some people, it’s so much easier to allow their pride, their lust for power and their greed to bulldoze their character.
On November, 14th 2018, I watched a racist lying president declare Martin Luther King’s birthday a national holiday. Now if you are one to take what you see on the surface as a fact, or if you’re too lazy to verify history, you’d think this man was doing a very good thing. You’d even think he had a good heart. But if you seek the truth, if you’d dig a little deeper, you’ll discover that was merely a show. As with all things, when you go beyond the show, when you seek the greater truth, you’d discover on November 2, 1983, President Ronald Reagan signed into law HR3706, making Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday a national holiday. SMH - My Lord!!! What a fool believes?
The word reminds us to beware of evil in high places. That especially includes the space between your ears and even Oval office at The White House. When it’s all said and done, each of us has a date with eternity. Each of us will be judged not by our credit scores, or our political affiliations, nor our titles. God will judge us by the content of our character. He will not judge us by the promises we made, nor will He judge us by how much power we had. To the contrary, He will judge us by how we kept silent when we should have spoken up. He will judge us by our ignoring those who needed our help while we abandoned them. He will judge us for ignoring love and choosing hate.
Remember this! Time escapes no man. In closing, here’s a final warning, this is from God to you - “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will heal their land.” Ignore this if you like, but I suggest you don’t.
From God to you, through me, Dr. D Ivan Young.
I love you madly, most sincerely I do

7 年Agree with your points and would point tout that not everyone is so biased and others are willing to reach out and help black people in any way they can. I have worked with many black people in the past and met many others and always they come over as amenable and friendly. To illustrate that, I am also mentoring two others from African states both in Rwanda and trying to help a chap in Tanzania and India with their work.

7 年The Universal grievance of ‘man’s inhumanity to man’ is ever present. It does not matter what region or Zip Code of the country one lives in or what industry one finds employment. Intolerance when sanctioned allow people with an agenda to spew hatred, whether against African Americans, Jewish Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, LGBT Americans, Arab Americans, and others who stand up for open-mindedness and justice. Verbal assault and castigation will be leveled against those who dare voice a dissenting point of view. It does not take much for one to level a charge and enter a diatribe to ridicule someone under the guise of anonymity. It takes courage for one to remain civil during heated discourse and intellectual debate. Professionally, Dr. Cay Alford “That ability to take in your surroundings and sort out the important stuff, to be aware, to be vigilant. Then take all that information, put it together, and see if it makes sense to you.” (Paul Gleason)
Ignorance it's not never attending school. Ignorance is when someone sit in on top of a highest building and cant see far that his(her) nose.
(?????)?
7 年Racism will never end - If you are surprised why Mugabe received a standing ovation from the majority black audience during Mandela's funeral mass to the annoyance of especially the Europeans, this is part of the reason: Read the speech of President Mugabe...True Story: 1. Racism will never end as long as white cars are still using black tires. 2. Racism Will never end as long we still wash first white clothes, then other colors later. 3. Racism will never end if people still use black to symbolize bad luck and WHITE for peace! 4. Racism will never end if people still wear white clothes to weddings and black clothes to the funerals. 5. Racism will never end as long as those who don't pay their bills are blacklisted not Whitelisted. Even when playing the pool (snooker), you haven't won until you sink the black ball, and the white ball must remain on the field. BUT I don't CARE, SO LONG AS IM STILL USING THE WHITE TOILET PAPER TO WIPE MY BLACK A*S, I 'M STILL FINE! (Mugabe speech) As I add All of the people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust.

7 年Thank you for sharing the article very powerful ! As far as the screenshot of that response you received once again proves racism and bigotry are still prevalent in today's society. But I guess since being ignorant and small minded are still an option in today's society what else can we expect !!! But we can never give up hope that the hearts of all people can change. Through prayer and sharing God’s message anything is possible !
