Trump Derangement Syndrome Draws Blood

Arguably, the most effective, dangerous, and secret weapons are those that we cannot see at all. Fear is one of them.

Since antiquity, strategists have advised the use of propaganda and other psychological techniques to spread fear among the citizenry and to bring about the defeat of their political opponents. Scaremongering is a form of manipulation that causes fear by using exaggerated rumors of impending danger.

Instilling fear and loathing of Trump, not a discussion of issues of substance, obscuring and deflecting from Biden’s obvious infirmity, for four years until the debate, ignoring the utter incompetence of Vice President Harris, has been the strategy of the Democrats since 2016: now on steroids that Trump’s popularity is increasing.

Lawfare and the designation of Trump as “a convicted felon,” was intended as a building block, not merely to discredit him, but to cast him as a figure of repulsion. Let me assure you this is not a recent phenomenon, and it continues unabated even after the assassination attempt. Here, is the grotesque spin provided by the Atlantic Magazine. Even an attempt on Trump’s life was seized as an opportunity to defame him and degrade the millions who support him in an article entitled, “The Gunman and the Would-Be Dictator.”

The theme of the article was to depict him and his supporters as “envisioning a new place for violence as their defining political message in the 2024 election.”

Then as revelatory of their own desperation they went over the top as demagogues will do when frightened themselves that they are losing control over minds and hearts.

“The Mussolini movement built imposing monuments to its fallen comrades. The Trump movement now improves on that: The leader himself will be the martyr in chief: his own blood the basis for his bid for violence and vengeance.”

This is a teaching moment. The demagoguery of the Democratic game plan is palpable. Stoking fear for the intimidation of “the people” and subordination of enemies is a very strong tool that politicians and media use to blur human’s logic and change their behavior. They are counting on that. By scaring the voters, the demagogues turn their “aggression” on Trump who they have depicted as an existential threat to democracy.

When demagogues manage to control the fear circuity of humans, they often regress to illogical, tribal, and aggressive human animals, becoming weapons themselves----- weapons that politicians use for their own agenda.

The Democrats and their media allies are using fear to drive votes away from Trump. Their strategy involves factual and misleading statements, exaggerations and outright lies, culminating in claims that an election victory for Trump will lead to an outright disaster.

The Democratic campaign for the Presidency has centered on the dehumanization of Trump. There is no equivalency to the pathological viciousness on display from Biden, Harris, their surrogates, the radical left, and the mainstream media which is so clearly and accurately documented here by the brilliant and courageous Ali.
