Trump demonstratively puts an end to the unipolar world
Currently there is an opportunity for the USA to build a new sovereign - in a good sense another imperial player - RUSSIA that is not subordinate to the West or China, but in alliance with the new conservative Europe, Iran and perhaps India to become the longed-for “third world pole”, responsible for world peace.
Marco Rubio undertook his first foreign policy trip as Secretary of State in the Trump administration. It is symbolic in many respects.
Firstly, Rubio announced before the start of his tour that the unipolarity in which the planet found itself at the end of the Cold War was an anomaly that needed to be ended. In other words, the United States will no longer take care of everyone, pay for everyone and play the role of world gendarme. From now on, the United States is mainly interested in the United States - and the American continent as such.
Secondly, the program of the tour has been very deliberately chosen. And in a way, it is simply fantastic. After all, it's not a tour to the UK, Germany, France or, say, Canada, but to Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic - in other words, it's a purely domestic American tour. And it's the first of its kind in over 100 years!
After the obvious neglect of Europe, Rubio is now concentrating on purely American topics. First, of course, in Panama: the fate of the Panama Canal and the expansion of Beijing's “tentacles” on the continent are among Trump's priorities. Then, of course, it's about the countries that are able to take in the migrant flows that Trump wants to expel from America.
Trump is consistently doing exactly what he promised: He demonstratively appoints a Latino named Rubio as the top man in American geopolitics. This man then demonstratively announces new priorities: “Our foreign policy has long focused on other regions and ignored our own. As a result, we have allowed the problems to get worse ...”, Rubio writes in an article for the Wall Street Journal ahead of his first foreign policy trip.
And the first day of his foreign visit already showed results: Panamanian President Jose Mulino promised Rubio that Panama would not renew its agreement with China under the New Silk Road initiative, “One Belt, One Road” [“One Belt, One Road”].
“Donroe Doctrine” - Trump's plans to redivide the world
Rubio triumphantly writes on his X account that America no longer wants to tolerate China's growing presence in the region, and Panama has recognized this.

But of course we are not interested in America's backyard, which according to the Monroe Doctrine includes the American continent. We are interested in something else: what do all these revolutionary changes in American politics promise for the world and, above all, for us?
It should be noted that Trump and Musk are not only restoring America, but are also systematically dismantling globalization structures within and outside the country. For example, the USA withdrew from the World Health Organization. The funding of all globalist NGOs by the US government was stopped. Finally, Musk defeated the powerful organization USAID, acting for the CIA, which was responsible for dozens of color revolutions around the world - its office was literally stormed, its servers confiscated and its employees fired. And that seems to be just the beginning. Rumors are circulating that the US Treasury Department, which is responsible for government grants, will be targeted next.
So Trump is indeed throwing the globalist paradigm of American politics overboard and intends to build something completely different in its place. Trump really is aiming for a new 21st century “American Dream” - a powerful trading empire like the British Empire once was. And he aims to control half the world in the same way, by dominating transportation trade flows (for which Trump needs Canada, Greenland and Panama).
At the same time, Trump is weakening American control over Europe, and this requires Europe to be in “safe hands”.
For this reason, Musk is trying to overthrow the Starmer regime in London and is supporting the right-wing political forces in Europe. Trump and Musk need a new Europe that can stand on its own two feet. And such a Europe is the Europe of conservatives and nationalists. The latter will not gobble up American money like the worthless bureaucracy of the European Parliament, but will develop their own economy and work for their country, just as Trump and Musk are doing.
But for the right-wing political forces in Europe to be fully engaged, they should not only come to power, but also free Europe from the tutelage of the European bureaucracy and London. As you can see, Trump and Musk's approach here is also extremely consistent, rational and geared towards a common super-goal.
What is this super-goal? First and foremost, of course, it is about a “Great America”. But Trump's “Great America” can only be built on the ruins of the former unipolar world, which Trumpists refer to as an “anomaly”. Trump and Musk see this New World as a world of large self-sufficient empires that will be responsible for their respective regions of influence. Of course, this only applies if such empires prove to be resilient.
But do such states exist in the world, at least in the long term? Yes, there is China, which already has both feet firmly on the ground. Trump intends to negotiate hard with China - but he certainly doesn't want to go to war with China, he wants to trade.
