Against all odds, Donald Trump is now the 45th President of the United States. I have actually been saying for 20 years that one day he would become President and it would be a good thing for business and entrepreneurship.
Back in September 2015 I interviewed political evangelist and best-selling author, Wayne Allyn Root and he explained why Trump was going to win.
Wayne Allyn Root on why Trump is going to be good for business:
Now, I know some of you do not like Trump, while others do, but what does President Trump mean for private aviation?
Over the last 15 years, we have seen the rise of exponential organizations as technology is accelerating our lives. The likes of Uber, Airbnb, Tesla, Amazon, Instagram and many more companies are changing the way we do business, disrupting markets and bringing down competitors that have been around for decades. However, while everything has been accelerating, air travel has actually slowed down…
Airport security and no more civilian supersonic flight have made air travel slower. The only way to speed-up your air travel is to fly by private jet. You can drive up to your jet and be airborne in 10-15 minutes, you also have access to many more airports.
President Trump has used private jets to build his business while President Obama really was against this amazing industry. With American companies now been encouraged to bring the money they have abroad back to the US, some of this will be used to buy private jets. The private jet gives you the speed and flexibility to help your business grow faster.
However, exponential growth will be coming to air travel soon as supersonic business jet comes to the market. President Trump is already looking at removing the FAA restriction on civilian supersonic flight over continental U.S. this will open the market for all those supersonic jet projects that are currently being developed.
Boston based, Spike Aerospace are developing the Spike S-512, a projected supersonic business jet. The S-512 will allow long flights for business and private travelers, such as from New York City to London, to take only three to four hours instead of six to seven. They are currently building an unmanned prototype that should start flight testing early 2018.
The Spike S-512 Supersonic Jet will be the first aircraft aerodynamically designed to offer Quiet Supersonic Flight. This will enable it to fly at its full cruising speed of Mach 1.6 (1100 mph) without producing a loud disturbing sonic boom on the ground.
In fact, the Spike S-512 is the only supersonic jet, in active development, that will fly at Mach 1.6 supersonic speeds to any city without disruptive sonic booms that are prohibited worldwide. The jet will carry up to 18 people and will cost around USD$100M to buy.
As I mentioned in my recent article about the business aviation market in 2017, now is the time to get your first private jet as there are plenty of pre-owned jets on the market at prices that will start to rise as President Trump gives the world of business the boost it has been waiting for!
