Trump, the Ali of Politics....

Listening to Prager while running an errand in the car, and to a phone in who spouted how much he hated Trump, and it dawned on me that most who hate Trump do so because he "isn't nice." These same folks, I'll bet, cheered for Ali who was among the most arrogant athletes ever...but was a winner. They cheered for McInroe, who berated the judges continually, a true a-hole at times, but was a winner. The nation cheered for Patton and McArthur, both a-holes often, but, thank God, were winners. I've often said, it ain't what you say, it's what you do. He left office setting records for bringing a life-saving vaccine to market. Trump left office with household income up 10% during his term. The first time it had raised that much in decades. He left office with the highest employment ever achieved for Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women and youth. He left office with the respect, and yes fear of the USA, from other countries. He would have left Afghanistan without stupidly giving up Bagram AFB BEFORE trying to pull out, thus having air support until the mission was accomplished, and leaving only what equipment necessary to support the Afghan military. He would have pulled our troops out in the dead of winter when the enemy historically doesn't fight because they can't move. There is no question in my mind that those who hate Trump have seldom turned off MSNBC and are self-indulgent, self-centered, and so arrogant themselves they can't recognize the success of others...others who might injure their tender sensibilities. Trump was Ali, who jabbed and feinted and charged and back-peddled his way to making America great again, making America safe again, and making America proud again. And I feel sorry for those who let their tender feelings come before the fact middle America, of all colors, were the big winners.
