Trumbull flies 1st UAVs @ OTC's 50th Anniversary
Invited by SPE, and in coordination with NRG arena/stadium, Trumbull flew the 1st approved UAV flights at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) under our Class Bravo waivers (Hobby & Bush). We will also fly Monday-Wednesday at 10am or Noon.
To highlight our expanding offshore offerings, we flew an Intel Falcon 8+, a Lockheed Indago and other UAS. Houston based, Trumbull supports inspections, security, and counter-UAS (C-UAS) in the Gulf. We are growing efforts to protect, inspect and digitize assets.
At OTC, the Governor’s Office invited Trumbull to be part of the State of Texas pavilion #6823. On Tuesday, I head to AUVSI - Xponential in Denver for a session on Maritime UAS Applications with GE and Schlumberger and also a Women in Robotics session.
Shown are SPE members from Trumbull (since 2014), InTechSys, and an SPE Director. SPE also sponsored my Distinguished Lecturer global tour (2015-2016) to speak on "How to Save Time, Money, and Reduce Personnel Exposure Using Unmanned Aircraft Systems."
