A Truly Transforming Encounter

I'm really excited about the capabilities of ChatGPT in the free version. The following article is about one of the first conversations I had with the technology. I am not sure if tool is the right word given the power. Maybe I will also upgrade to the pay version.
The following question was asked by me because I think I have gathered enough knowledge and experience in my career to sufficiently rate wahr ChatGPT would come up with.
how many theories about marketing are there?
"There are numerous theories about marketing that have been proposed by various scholars and practitioners over time. It is difficult to give an exact number, as some theories may overlap or have variations depending on the context or perspective. However, here are some of the major marketing theories:
These are just a few examples of the many theories that exist in the field of marketing. Each theory provides a unique perspective on how marketing works and how businesses can better understand and target their customers."
Thank you, ChatGPT, that is food for thought. The technology is really impressive. As benchmark serves Google. I am inclined to say that the leading search has been crushed by this reply. The AI has compiled this information specifically for me. The knowledge is based on wide range of sources, such as books, articles, websites, and other digital content, according to OpenAI, the company that developed ChatGPT. I will post also an article on this topic soon.
I was curious how the bot would use this knowledge in practice.

if you would need to write a marketing concept,
which three of the given theories would you base your work on?
"The choice of theories to base a marketing concept on would depend on the specific context and goals of the marketing concept. However, if I had to choose three theories to base a marketing concept on, I would choose the following:
By combining these three theories, a marketing concept can focus on delivering value to customers, building strong relationships with them, and creating effective marketing messages that influence their behavior."
At this point, I have adapted already to the chat bot's - in my view flawless - use of the English language. After all, it is introduced by OpenAI as a model "which interacts in a conversational way". I know, I exclude the technological stuff in the background (not that I would understand it). But isn't the modest explanation by OpenAI not doing the same? What runs in the background is either unthinkably complex for a single brain to embrace. Or it is beautifully simple.
However, I spend a couple of thoughts on why the well-known leaders of the industry seem to have failed to push AI technology to this level so far. Think about "Google translate"... In my experience the tool has become less perfoming lately.
Why should I bother too much about AI now? The technology is THAT powerful, yes. And yes, it has already been unleashed upon us. Therefore, for me it is not the time to wait. Now is the time to embrace the technology and learn how to use it for the greater good. No doubt, bad actors will use it for their intentions and aims. It is better to familiarise with AI now in order to be able to identify content being generated by it with a certain chance. By using our human intelligence.
As a leader, I combine curiosity and empathy with experience and knowledge to accommodate growth in others and in business
1 年Thanks for this blog Sacha Zaugg, you triggered my interest to give it a try myself. It had been on my to do list for a while already ?? Impressive to see how ChatGPT combines all of the most relevant results I'd find in a search engine, into one coherent answer to a question. Scary thought though, that when this becomes a 'single source of truth', how do we notice when it's telling something other than the truth.... ??
