The True Value of Earning with Passion and Dedication

Today, we can get many things at home just by spending money ??. While these comforts are earned, I believe real earning is about achieving a sense of accomplishment ??.

Let me share a story of true earning, driven by my passion for music, especially RD Burman ??. Growing up in Chennai ??, having a playlist of those songs was a dream. The only sources of songs were the RADIO ?? and the weekly Chitrahaar or Rangoli on Doordarshan ??. To build a personal playlist, the only solution available in Chennai was "Symphony Musicals" in Triplicane. This shop had all possible Hindi songs in the good old LP format ??.

I would take bus 21B ?? from Adyar, get down at Kannagi Statue bus stop, and walk down Pycroft Road ??♂?. I’d spend over an hour choosing the playlist?. The shop would take 3 to 5 days to record a D90 cassette ??, and I would return to collect it. My entire library was built this way, including Ilayaraja hits ??. This, to me, is earning our passion with sweat ??.

Looking back, I realize the value of the effort and dedication that went into building my music collection. Each cassette represents a journey, a memory, and a labor of love ??. It’s a reminder that true passion requires perseverance and that the joy of earning something through hard work is unparalleled. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for music and taught me the true meaning of earning with dedication.
