Is it true it takes 21 days to form a new habit? No. Depending on the person and the activity - it takes anywhere from 18-254 days to build a new behaviour in your life. It's important to set your expectations correctly and sometimes just knowing it could take you from 2 - 8 months to really get into your new habit could actually help you reach the 'finish line'!

This is why fitness programmes like couchto5k are spread over 9 weeks and businesses create 30 day 'challenges' for their clients. It's all relative, which is why coaching is so personalised.
