True Strength in Christ
"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." - Hebrews 13:16 (NIV)
One of the greatest misconceptions we men face, is that strength is displayed through physical dominance. We grow up with images of superheroes and strong men who conquer and achieve. But in our walk with God, we learn that the true measure of strength lies in our ability to do good and in our willingness to lift others up.
Hebrews 13:16 is for us an action plan: It challenges us, to step out and actively seek moments where we can practice goodness and share generously. What's more, it reminds us that these acts are not mere gestures – they are described as sacrifices, offerings that bring joy to the heart of God.
Maybe for you it's setting aside your Saturday to help a friend move, sharing a meal with someone less fortunate, or perhaps supporting a cause close to your heart. No matter how big or small the deed may seem, it reflects the love of Christ and leaves a mark on others.
