The True Source of Abundance

What is the real source of abundance in your life?

Most people have collapsed the concept of abundance with the condition of having plenty of money, but true abundance – as I define it here – encompasses far more than material possessions or luxuries. Satisfaction, fulfillment, joy, ease, happiness, creativity, compassion, freedom, love and wellbeing… these are all expressions of the essential, internal energy of abundance. When we deliberately cultivate this energy within ourselves, the external manifestations of abundance flow more easily into our lives.

All of life is energy: Love is energy. Money is energy. Happiness is energy. Fortunately, we live in a universe where there is an unlimited supply of energy. An abundance of all that we desire is available to us in this and in every moment, but our beliefs about what’s possible determine how much we will allow ourselves to receive. If we believe that resources are scarce; that creating wealth means sacrificing a personal life; or that past hardship will prevent us from creating future happiness, these beliefs will keep out of our lives that which is trying ceaselessly to come in.

The Law of Attraction is a universal principle which states that what we send out through our vibration – the sum total of our beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions – is reflected back to us in the quality of experiences that we draw to us. This means that if what we are attracting into our lives is not providing us the experiences we want – or worse, if what we are attracting is providing us an abundance of experiences that we don’t want – this is not a fluke. It’s the Law of Attraction in action. It is simply delivering to us the degree of abundance we believe we are capable of creating.

A lot of times, people experience an abundance of struggle, an abundance of pain, or an abundance of frustration. What they may not realize is that they are attracting abundance – it’s just not the kind of abundance they want! If we are attracting evidence of lack or insufficiency, the problem is not that the Law of Attraction isn’t working. The problem is that we don’t yet understand how to work with the law.

You see, just like the law of gravity, there are certain universal laws that operate invisibly behind the scenes. And in the same way that gravity is at work whether you “believe” in it or not, these laws exist whether you are aware of them or not, and whether you choose to consciously apply them or not. 

Developing mastery with the universal laws of creation is like suddenly understanding the rules of a game, or getting your hands on the map that will take you to your desired destination. Here are two universal principles you can begin working with immediately to magnetize more abundance into your life:

Principle #1: Use the Law of Attraction to Become More Allowing of Abundance

In every moment, and in relation to every aspect of your life that is important to you, you are offering a particular vibration. What you may not realize is that the universe is always listening – not to your words but to your energy. Through the vibration generated by your thoughts, actions, words, beliefs and feelings, you have actually forged an energetic relationship with the abundance you desire. 

Think about this for a moment: You already have a relationship with the level of health and vitality you want to experience. You have a relationship with the intimate partner or the friends or adventure or fun that you want to magnetize into your life. The question to ask yourself is, “What is the quality of these relationships?” 

The higher your vibration you are offering when you contemplate the outcomes you desire, the more magnetic to them you become, and the faster and more fluidly they manifest.  

Principle #2: Activate the Law of Sufficiency and Abundance to Disarm Limiting Beliefs 

Like everything in the universe, beliefs are made up of energy. When your beliefs about what is possible are in alignment with the energy of limitlessness and abundance, you magnetize greater possibilities into your life. And when your beliefs are aligned with the vibration of scarcity and lack, the range of possibility that you are able to perceive constricts, holding you apart from the very things you desire.

To dismantle any hidden or unconscious beliefs in scarcity, remind yourself that there is no limit to the abundance available to you or to anyone, and challenge yourself to take on a more generous, expansive belief. You can try these on for starters:

·      The universe has enough for everyone,

·      There is more than enough to go around,

·      My abundance does not diminish anyone else’s experience, and

·      I deserve to create everything my heart desires!

Before you became programmed to look for evidence of lack, you knew yourself to be infinite, unbounded, and completely deserving of all that life has to offer. True abundance is something you draw to yourself by virtue of what you believe to be possible, and this is a door that can only be opened from the inside out.

By understanding and applying these powerful universal laws, you will come to know yourself as the deliberate creator of your own experience. Put more attention on the energy of abundance that already exists within you, and you’ll find that you draw greater abundance into your external life – not through hard work and struggle, but through the internal force of attraction.
