True relationship is always soulful

"Marrying you was my biggest mistake in life.”, my grandfather yells at my grandmother. “Okay stop shouting, your blood pressure will get low.”, granny said in lower tone. “What? Why did you marry me? I want a divorce!”, grandfather yells again. “Divorce? Now? When I have no other place to go?”, granny again in a calm tone. “I don’t care.” and grandfather starts coughing. “Sit and talk.” “No, I don’t want to sit!” “Okay if you are standing, pass me my diabetic medicines.” “You didn’t take them this morning?” “No.” “Wait, I’ll bring you something to eat.” Grandpa goes and quickly cooks some breakfast and brings it to her.

“Now tell who would take such care of me? You do all the housework.”, granny smirked with a smile. Grandpa sits silently beside her. She raises a spoon of hot Poha to his mouth and they share and eat together. “Madam you should take your meds on time.” “Did you take yours?” “Uhh.. yes I will.” “Now do you want divorce?” “What? What divorce? I was just too hungry.”?They often talk, “what I will do without you?”. They still talk romantic, specially my grandpa. They can’t live a second without each other and their love is lasting even now.

Love is something that is not static. It is continuously evolving dynamically with time and emotions. It has its own highs and lows. Love operates on three levels, Physical level, psychological level and spiritual level. A relationship might contain one level, two levels or all the three levels. It also happens that it starts with single aspect and when it begins to flourish it may gradually attain all the aspects. This kind of love gives you a sense of fulfillment and bliss.

If someone loves your soul and not your physical body then obviously the person has a sense of belonging at psychologically/emotionally or spiritually.The person wants to be with you no matter what your physical attributes are. Physical attributes are not only limited to your appearance but also includes your gestures, your body language, your posture etc. All these things become secondary. They feel lucky to have you in their life, they cherish you for the person that you really are, they doesn't want to mold you according to their own needs. They are not concerned about other peoples opinion about you. You will feel a connection. Obviously we humans depict our feelings in words, actions and emotions. Pay close attention to everything and you’ll get your answer through your soul. Now another story.

My sister and I were preparing for biology exam(we are twins). I can say that I am weak in that subject.However, I wrote the exam successfully after rigorous hard work. The day had finally arrived. Results! I got 90/100. Pessimistic thoughts exploded in my mind. “This evening I will be celebrating Diwali with my mom. Wait, how much did Pallu (my twin sister) score ?” Me : How much did you score? Pallu: First, you tell me. Me: 90 Pallu : 86 Me: What's the highest? Pallu: 95. Me: What the hell !!

My mom after looking at our results,she scolded Pallu badly. She didn't scold me, as I scored more marks than her. Next day morning: Me: Pallu, Where is my maths notes? Pallu : It's in my bag. Me :Ok! I’ll take. While I was searching for the book, I got her biology paper. I was totally dazzled after looking into it. She got 95/100. She scored the highest in the class. Pallu: Got the book? Me: Why did you lie to me? (Showing her paper)

Pallu: I know how much you have studied for that exam. 90 is a good score but mom will compare yours with mine. So, I wanted to give the credit to you. Me : (Speechless) Immediately I called my mom and dad. I told them the entire scene. They appreciated Pallu for her love towards me. They also congratulated me for getting 90/100. From then, my parents stopped comparing us. It's just because of her. Seriously, she's been a gift to me. This one incident explains, how much my sister loves me. Cheers!
