A True Holiday Miracle - New Orleans LA

A personal testimony about Holiday miracles and good will:

As a realtor, I dedicate a part of my business to helping folks avoid homelessness. So it's always going to be about buying and selling, but also wealth growth, financial literacy and preventing homelessness every chance we get.

This one moma is on the verge of homelessness due to her landlord refusing to renew her lease. She didn't do anything wrong. He just wants to rent it out to someone else.

One of my clients just relocated to accept an out of state job offer. He didn't want to sell the house. He prefers to just rent it out to someone and keep it as an investment. So it was truly divine timing that his need and her need occurred at the same time.

BUT she is on a Section 8 Rental voucher SO... that means the city has its processes before she can move in. This process includes an inspection of the home and the rules are a tad strict sometimes.

There was ONE deficiency that blocked approval, and so everyone was stressing! My friend and handyman Paul came through with the fix and the inspector came through with the approval.

Now just 2 days before #Thanksgiving we could finally tell this moma that she and her babies will have a home for Christmas.
