I was at a conference a few weeks ago where the hosts sold a $25,000 coaching program.?

A friend of mine was considering buying in, but wasn’t sure.?

I told him that he had to make decisions based not on who he was today, but who he planned on being a year from now.?

He joined.?

In business, the cost to be the boss is investing.?

Financially.?

They say, “it takes money to make money.” This isn’t always true; you can generate revenue today very easily without spending anything up-front.?

But…

To expand, grow and build, you will need to put your money on the table.?

Being a “boss” is a power position. And power ain’t free.?

This — being a boss or putting your money on the line — isn’t easy. Which is why few people do it.?

I heard a man named Dan Sullivan being asked what the difference was between confidence and courage.?

“Confidence feels good.”?
