Trudeau resigned? ......but did he?

As many MP's are calling Trudeaus resignation a Clown show they are right. At least Trudeau's father walked off into the snow and retired. His son Justin decided he would keep the title of Prime Minister and announce his "intention" to resign" and have his fellow Liberals fighting over who will be the next Leader of the Liberal party and possibly the next Prime Minister (which could be very short lived) This announcement has caused several local MP's to release statements. Read what our Local NDP MP Brian Masse said in an article for CBC:

Incoming U.S. president Donald Trump's tariff threats and concerns at the border have influenced discussions about security in Canada, something Brian Masse, the MP for Windsor West, says he's been attempting to do for years.

We need more than an attempt for changes for our port of entries and it does not appear to that it has EVER been a priority for Jagmeet Singh the leader of the NDP. I can't believe he did responded with this video.

This is NOT how we should threaten the future President of the United States. Singh is not in a position to negotiate. Trump will not even invite him to meet with him

In fact his response was to retaliate with his own tariff ideas and calling Trump a Troll? The video can be seen on his Instagram. We also have a Liberal minority Government representative for Windsor Tecumseh Lakeshore ~ MP Irek Kusmierczyk who has done nothing to strengthen our borders. And this inaction could cost both of them their seats as the date of President elect Trumps inauguration is just weeks away.

The questions remain:

Why did it take these threats to bring attention to our lack of border security? And shocking headlines from AM800 How Trump could declare a national emergency to hit Canada with 25 per cent tariffs. We will soon have 3 border crossings. At what point was this not made high priority. Where are Trudeaus advisors? It appears that Trudeau felt that a convoy was the worst threat to Canada. On February 14, 2022, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government declared a public order emergency, invoking the Emergencies Act for a month long peaceful protest by Canadian truckers. On January 23rd, 2024 it was deemed unlawful, and the legal costs to the taxpayer were $2.2 million dollars. How much will tariffs cost our Canadian economy? Why isn't Trudeau taking these threats seriously? It may be why he decided to resign.

The NDP had several chances to vote non confidence but they didn't Singh has acknowledged that the Conservatives have a sizeable lead on the NDP in public opinion polls and there is good reason. The NDP must take the blame for not calling for an election, as the result now is the imminent possibility of destroying the Automotive Industry in Windsor Ontario which is the Automotive Capital of Canada. What we NEED is new leadership and not the parties who have failed us.

One applicant running to be the next Conservative MP said:

Every resident of Windsor West needs to get out and vote. This is not only a common sense election, it will be the votes to NOT become the 51st US state.
