TRRS Teachers of the Year – Visit to UK

Since 2010, TRRS recognises outstanding teachers who exemplify excellence both in and out of the classroom, consistently go above and beyond the call of duty and demonstrate outstanding teaching/learning and pastoral care to pupils, across the whole school.

The TRRS Teacher of the Year Award is presented annually and winners embark on a three-week working holiday to the UK annually, further solidifying our strong links with fellow UK Independent Schools.

TRRS Teachers of the Year (2023/2024), Mr. Titus Adjei (Principal Teacher) and Mr. Emmanuel Gbedemah (History Co-ordinator) enjoyed extended visits to Truro High School and Taunton School. ?They relished ?the opportunity to learn about each school’s unique culture, interact with students and staff, observe students at work in class and even teach a few lessons themselves!

Mr. Adjei and Mr. Gbedemah also made sure to showcase Ghana’s vibrant culture and rich heritage through various cultural exchange seminars and presentations.

We are sincerely grateful to the staff and students of Truro High School and Taunton School for their warm hospitality again this year and we eagerly look forward to continued collaboration between our schools.
