However, our celebrations this year are poignantly tempered by the recent and tragic loss of Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora, a distinguished YAMAM officer and operative. Arnon heroically gave his life in the line of duty while rescuing hostages in Gaza. His actions, marked by unparalleled bravery and selflessness, serve as a testament to the highest values of courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Arnon's legacy will forever be etched in our hearts and minds. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this profoundly difficult time. We stand with them in their grief and honor the ultimate sacrifice that Arnon made to protect others.

In the midst of this sorrow, we find a measure of solace in the safe release of the four hostages. Their return is a beacon of hope, a bright spot in these challenging times that reminds us of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of never losing faith. Their homecoming is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through determination, cooperation, and unwavering commitment to justice and human dignity.

Yet, our joy is also tinged with the sorrow of mourning the loss of other brave soldiers who have perished in the defense of our country. These courageous individuals have laid down their lives while continuing the search for more hostages, a mission fraught with danger and uncertainty. Their sacrifice is a stark reminder of the cost of freedom and security, and it is our duty to remember and honor their contributions. Their bravery ensures that we can continue to live in a society that upholds the values of peace and safety. We offer our deepest sympathies to the families of these fallen heroes and stand with them in their grief.
