Troika Systems & Clemson University Graphic Communications program joins forces to teach students best practices for Anilox and Flexoplate inspection

Troika Systems joins forces with Clemson University’s Graphic Communications program to teach students best practices for anilox roller and printing plate management.

Troika Systems has recently donated the AniCAM HD?? 3D inspection Microscope to Clemson University’s Graphic Communications program.

The AniCAM HD?? gives students access to the most up-to-date systems for anilox roller inspection and management as well as flexographic plate analysis.

Kern Cox, Senior Lecturer at Clemson University said “We are excited for the hands-on opportunities the AniCAM HD?? brings to the laboratory allowing us to teach students best practices for anilox roller and printing plate management. Furthermore, the AniCAM HD?? gives students the opportunity to explore first-hand the landscapes of a wide variety of anilox roller surfaces to better learn cause and effect relationships of what students see in the anilox roller cells vs the print results.” Plans are already in place to incorporate the AniCAM HD?? into the curriculum of more classes in upcoming semesters to perform regular QC checks on printing plates. “This has been a great relationship between Troika Systems and Clemson University and we look forward to working together closely with education moving forward.”
