Triskaidekaphobia the fear of the number 13; you did not know there was a number for it did you?
My mom, Galina passed away on February 13, 2023. Yesterday, on April 13 there was a spontaneous brush fire in my back yard. Smoke and then fire came out of nowhere and spread fast. The fire department had to come with 6 trucks to put the fire out.
In many Western cultures, 13 is commonly associated with bad luck. This superstition is thought to have originated in Christian mythology, where it is believed that there were 13 people present at the Last Supper, and that the 13th person, Judas, betrayed Jesus.
In contrast, in some cultures, such as those found in China, 13 is considered a lucky number because its pronunciation sounds like the words for "growth" or "life." In ancient Egypt, 13 was associated with the afterlife, and in Hinduism, 13 is believed to represent the 13 stages of spiritual evolution.
?Our universe can be described and understood through mathematical concepts and principles, but it is not necessarily "based on" numbers. Mathematics is a tool that humans use to model and understand the physical world around us, and we have found that the laws of nature can often be described using mathematical equations.

For example, the laws of gravity can be described using mathematical formulas, and we can use these formulas to make predictions about the behavior of objects in space. The behavior of light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation can also be described using mathematical concepts such as wave equations.
Numbers and dates can have different meanings depending on the context and the culture in which they are used. In many cases, numbers and dates are used to represent and measure quantities or to keep track of time. In addition to their practical uses, numbers and dates can also have symbolic or cultural meanings. In many cultures, certain numbers are considered lucky or unlucky, while certain dates may hold special significance, such as religious or historical events.
Our calendar, also known as the Gregorian calendar, is based on the solar cycle of the Earth orbiting the Sun. It was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 and has been used as the standard calendar in most countries around the world.
The Gregorian calendar is based on a year of 365 days, with an additional day added every four years to account for the extra time it takes for the Earth to orbit the Sun (this is known as a leap year). The Gregorian calendar is widely used for civil and international purposes, including scheduling of holidays and events, and for keeping track of historical events. However, there are other calendars that are still used in certain cultures and religions, such as the Chinese lunar calendar, the Jewish calendar, and the Islamic calendar.
Mathematics is considered a universal language because it is based on logical principles and is not tied to any particular culture or language. If aliens were to visit Earth and we were able to establish communication with them, it is possible that we could use mathematical concepts to communicate with them.
However, it is important to note that mathematics is a human invention, and the universe existed and functioned long before humans developed the concept of numbers and mathematical systems. So while mathematics is a powerful tool for understanding the universe, it is not necessarily the foundation or basis of the universe itself.
