Tripeptide Libraries

Tripeptide Libraries

Peptide libraries consist of a combination of different peptides for use in a number of biological applications. These combinations can include overlapping peptides, random sequences, truncated sequences, among others. The general synthetic peptide library uses 20 kinds of natural amino acids as building units, and the size of the library capacity is determined by the number of amino acids (n) that constitute a peptide of a specific length, which can be simply calculated as 20n, a tremendous number of peptides can be generated with the peptide sequence lengthening. Based on GenScript’s PepHTS platform, we provided highly efficient peptide library synthesis service, and we have accomplished a tripeptide library contains all the 8000 (20*20*20) sequences of natural amino acid through chemical synthetic method.?

By analyzing hundreds of peptides in parallel, peptide libraries drastically decrease the time required for screenings. Since the natural sourced and tremendous potential sequences, peptide libraries show powerful strength in the application of:

·??????epitope mapping / screening

·??????protein structure-activity study

·??????cancer vaccine

·??????drug discovery

·??????spacer amino acid positions

·??????food and cosmetic development.
