Our Partners, Directors, and Managers are amazing, but Analysts are my favorite group at Clearsulting.

Our Analyst group is 50-times ahead of where I was when I was an Analyst. Every time I sit down with one or more Clearsulting analysts, I come out of the discussion in complete shock. I often reflect on when I was at their level for comparison purposes. There is not much of a comparison to be honest. I was focused on weekly happy hour or weekend plans, they are focused on making a difference in the world. The way they think big picture, the way they are invested in overall company strategy and the way they want to make a difference is so impressive to me.

Our Finance Effectiveness practice is a powerful rocket ship ready for hyper-growth

I had the opportunity to participate in our Finance Effectiveness strategy session last week in Chicago. We’ve completed multiple, high-value projects in this space, specifically around finance operating model, shared services, and finance function improvement. We’re aligned better than ever to execute (from strategy through execution) at a high level for our clients in this space.

I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my colleagues and love the culture we’ve built throughout our office locations

The only problem with our out of office gatherings is that no one ever wants to leave. It’s always a great time to spend time with the team outside of the office and it feels more like a get together with friends / family vs. a work gathering. I was lucky enough to spend time with colleagues in Chicago on Wednesday evening. We had the chance to catch up personally and play ‘Jenga’ along the way.

Our offices have established local “traditions” over the past year or so. One of my favorites is at our HQ in Cleveland. Each Friday, before everyone heads out for the weekend, we play a quick game of 5-question trivia. It’s a fun way to end the week. Unfortunately, I never win, but it is always a fun time.
