DUO & TRIO LAYER's OAK floor

Having strived to utilize the oak hardwood in our floors to our best knowledge, in a world with even greater pressure on our natural ressources, we found out that we still kept having oak hardwood in odd grades and dimensions just standing there !? Even when we utilize the oak wood for all types of flooring, off- and downcuts for heating the production, production of wood paste we still had leftovers that we where using for the? production of wood briquettes for export.

Being an environmental friendly company we started a process of how we could upcycle and capture more carbon in our floors while cutting off our production of wood briquettes, in this process we took the decision to invest in the production of planks and patterns in which we upcycle all the odd sizes and wood waste at the same time keeping the degree of processing as low as possible.

Out from these considerations we started to manufacture Oak TRIO and DUO LAYER’s an all solid oak floor. It maximize carbon capture, it is durable thanks to a thick top layer, it is essentially a renewable floor by planning of the top layer adding a new top layer, it lessen our dependency and carbonprint as sub supplies are unnecessary.

TRIO and DUO LAYER’s are usable in connection with underfloor heating it is dimensional stabile has a good heat conductivity and it feels, sounds and looks as a traditional solid wood floor to our opinion the best of both worlds.
