Golden Paddle Showdown
Date: Wednesday, December 4th
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Place: Plaza Hotel & Casino, Rooftop Courts
We’re kicking off MJBizCon week with an exciting pickleball tournament—the?Golden Paddle Showdown! This event is more than just a competition; it’s a chance for industry professionals to network, bond, and unwind in a fun, energetic setting. With?40 plus teams?competing and over?100's of RSVPs for spectators, the rooftop will be buzzing with excitement.
Expect a morning filled with friendly competition, great vibes, and plenty of opportunities to connect. Our favorite pickleball pro, Steve, will start us off with a quick walkthrough of the basics to ensure everyone feels confident and ready to play. We’ll keep everyone refreshed with water, Gatorade, and doughnuts. Plus, the rooftop setup will feature music and announcements to keep the energy high for both players and spectators.

Blaze of Glory: Live Performances & Networking

The night’s highlight? A live, interactive performance by Box of Beats, who will bring their signature energy to the stage with one-on-one DJ sets and an unforgettable closing performance.

To round out the week, we’re hosting a wellness-focused event like no other—the Breathe & Sound Healing Brunch. This intimate gathering is designed to offer a moment of peace, reflection, and connection amidst the whirlwind of MJBizCon activities.
Led by the talented Anna Fae Henderson and Chelsea Bates , the brunch features guided sound healing and breathwork sessions that will leave you feeling grounded and rejuvenated. The serene setting of NUWU Lounge offers the perfect backdrop for attendees to reset their energy while connecting with others in a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere.
The event will also include a curated menu to nourish the body and soul, complemented by thoughtful discussions on mindfulness, wellness, and the role of cannabis in holistic healing practices.
In addition to its focus on wellness, the brunch serves a greater purpose: proceeds from the event will benefit the Cannabis Impact Fund, a local non-profit dedicated to driving meaningful change within our industry and community.
