On March 29th, Trina Solar Japan Energy (‘TSJE’), the Japan regional team of the Trinasolar ISBU group, is pleased to announce the commencement of construction for a groundbreaking solar project in Kiso Town, Nagano Prefecture. On March 29th, Trina Solar Japan Energy (‘TSJE’), the Japan regional team of the Trinasolar ISBU group, is pleased to announce the commencement of construction for a groundbreaking solar project in Kiso Town, Nagano Prefecture. TSJE acted as developer in the project, and Tekoma Energy team was introduced as the sponsor in late 2023. With a DC capacity of 19MWp and a Feed-in Tariff (FiT) rate of 24 JPY/kWh, this project represents a significant milestone for both the Tekoma Energy team and the TSJE team.

TSJE has overcome significant challenges during its development, particularly related to securing the transmission line route. TSJE has diligently worked on project development from inception to the upcoming commercial operation date (COD) expected to be in autumn, 2025.

During the following construction process, TSJE will keep dedicated to transparent communication with the local community and stakeholders, prioritizing stringent safety measures, environmental standards, and sustainable practices to minimize the project's impact on the surrounding ecosystem. TSJE is advancing clean energy solutions and contributing to a net-zero future.
