Yesterday we celebrated GIS Day in Chandler! Multiple city departments and divisions came together to showcase the innovative ways they use GIS to better serve our residents. The event also provides a learning opportunity for rest of #TeamChandler to see the impact and how other areas of the city utilize this technology. Congratulations to our map contest winners — Blake Terhune and Brian McCurdy Jr. — for their creative static and interactive maps. Special thanks to Mayor Kevin Hartke for joining us to issue a GIS Day proclamation and Esri for their presentation on AI in GIS. #ChandlerAZ #GISDay #GIS
