Our newest Employee Spotlight is here! It is my honor to highlight one of our outstanding Berlin based technical talents, Gina Weng. Gina joined Trifacta almost two years ago , her focus on the customer is unparalleled and we were super excited to hear more about how she impacts success at Trifacta, what it's like to work at Trifacta, and what she thinks about robots and housekeeping. Here's Gina!

What drew you to Trifacta originally?

The Wrangler training videos drew my attention to Trifacta.  Ultimately, it was getting to know the team and feeling like these are the people I want to work with that sealed the deal.

What's your role at Trifacta?

I am a part of the Technical Support team in Berlin.  People often ask me what does Technical Support do? In essence, I help customers overcome technical barriers to create business success and feedforward to help our team improve the product.

What are 3 words to describe Trifacta?

Innovative, Colorful and Respect

How would you describe your team?

Not only do we provide technical support for our customers, we are also pretty good at helping each other grow.  Oh yeah, it also helps when there’s a stockpile of treats.

Which Trifacta value resonates most with you & why?

Iterate to excellence - who wouldn’t want to be excellent?

What book are you reading right now?

Mama's Last Hug: Animal Emotions and What They Tell Us about Ourselves by Frans De Waal

Pick one: Flying cars, robot housekeepers, or moon cities?

Definitely robot housekeepers.  I don’t want to fight the losing battles with my inner-self about whether to clean or not anymore.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

Málaga in Spain - Immediately after I left, I wanted to go back again. It must be the magic of wine and dine.
