TRIDENT GROUP AT HEIMTEXTIL 2023

#Heimtextil 2023 (January 10-13, 2023) Messe, Frankfurt is the largest textile exhibition of its kind in Europe. The upcoming 2023 edition explores four key routes to circularity: Make and Remake, Continuous, From Earth and Nature Engineered. Focusing on advocating the judicious use of the Earth’s resources by conceptualizing sustainably curated offerings, Trident Group (Hall 10.2 Stand A21) is exhibiting the theme of Conscious Living, the inspiration behind the designs and exhibits.  

After a long hiatus of COVID-19, the group has taken a sustainable approach this year at Heimtextil. With a myriad of products from the curated selection of brands, Trident group offers a spectrum of conscious living products to choose from. The collection, Earth Lover, is inspired by the idea of keeping the planet at the heart. Naturally dyed products composed of blends of sustainable fibres make the collection a valuable addition to green living. 

On the innovation frontier, Trident’s JIVA, offers wellness and hygiene products. This year, at Heimtextil, the group brings in a brand-new range of technologically driven products in collaboration with various Tex-Tech companies.  The group has also collaborated with HeiQ to launch its newest product “Jiva powered with HeiQ Allergen Tech”, a 100 % biobased technology using active probiotics to reduce allergens on textiles.

Trident’s premium Mélange collection, Macaron, is visually alluring yet consciously made, offers vivid colors and an aspiration of fine living. The brand is a part of Trident’s sustainable value chain by reducing water, chemical and energy consumption.  

Trident Group team together with #SCADpro has developed a kid’s bedding range, Unapologetically Kid. The creative collaboration with Gen Z designers at SCAD has led to delightful and vibrant print designs.  It takes a trip to a whimsical land of colours, imagination and fantastic creatures.  

In addition to the sustainable product range, Trident group has been working in the background following the sustainable manufacturing route across its value chain, in order to reduce its impact on natural resource consumption and is on the way of implementing ESG reporting frameworks to increase transparency, traceability and responsibility towards people and the planet.   

Trident Group is a leader in responsible manufacturing and its sustainable initiatives include recovering Glabour's salt using patented technology, a drive to work towards Zero Solid Discharge and disposal to minimise waste.  Over a million trees have been planted with a 98% water recovery system with zero liquid discharge facility. Trident has been recycling and reusing over 10 billion litres of water, which can fill more than 4000 Olympic swimming pools! The group has installed an 18 MWp solar power plant and has made efforts to reduce 100,000+ Metric Tonnes of carbon footprint per year, which is equivalent of the footprint of 21,500 running cars on road. Trident’s wheat straw-based paper manufacturing saves millions of trees each year. Trident has also taken steps for community welfare as it aims to achieve a total of 30% women workforce by 2023 as a part of its DE&I initiative.
