Meta Announces New AI Advantage+ Tools
The amount of time people spend watching videos on Instagram and Facebook is growing. Currently, 60% of time spent on both platforms is on video. To address this trend, Meta is launching new generative AI ad creative tools with enhanced video generation capabilities. These tools include Video Expansion, which allows the adjustment of video creatives by generating new pixels to expand the video to different aspect ratios. Meta has also introduced Image Animation, enabling users to generate videos from static images on Instagram Reels. According to Meta, this feature can be used to repurpose high-performing static image ads into new video ads.
Reddit Rolls Out AI Features
Dynamic Audience Expansion extends ad audiences beyond the targeted audience by leveraging AI, which analyzes various signals, including ad creative and user behavior. According to Reddit, this will lead to a broader yet highly relevant audience for your ads. This feature is being released alongside Multi-Placement Optimization, which uses machine learning to place ads in the most relevant positions, and AI Keyword Suggestion, which analyzes conversations on Reddit and recommends overlooked keywords relevant to your ad.
TikTok Launches Smart+
TikTok has introduced Smart+, an AI-powered ad solution that handles the entire ad creation, placement, and bidding process for advertisers. According to TikTok, all you need to do is input your assets, budget, and targeting goals, and Smart+ will automatically create or select the best creative assets, choose the right audience, and deliver the most effective ad to the right customer at the right time.
