The Trick To a Multidimensional Flush
The trend comes and goes, but blush has been a constant in the look of makeup for decades and for good reason. When applied properly, it can warm your face, give you a youthful look and even sculpt your features. But it is time to take it one step further.
Multidimensional blush looks dominate everything from runways to our social feeds. But don’t worry, you don’t have to be a chemist to create the perfect blush blend and blend (thanks!) Here are two easy ways to get a multi-dimensional, youthful look flush every time.
Radiant flush
The key to this look is to mix two different blush finishes — one matte and the other shimmer. Start by sweeping the matte shade as the base of all cheeks from the apple on your cheek to your temples. Then, accentuate the apples on your cheeks with your favorite glitter blush. Hack: Skip a step with pre-paired blush that combines semi-matte tones with their perfect glitter match. Simply swipe your brush over the product and turn the cheeks for instant depth and dimension.

Multidimensional color
If you want to get more saturation instead of shine, another way to create lasting, flattering flashes is a combination of cream and powder blush finish. Start by dabbing a cream blush with the tip of your finger on the apples of your cheeks, mix it towards your temples and even across the bridge of your nose (if that’s your thing). Once it dries, set the color and add some depth by applying a powder blush, where you want more saturation — perhaps your cheek apple concentrate on them with a blush brush.
Pro-Tip: To really pop your cheeks, choose a more neutral cream blush and a deeper or brighter powder shade.
