A week ago today, I was in a church saying goodbye to Ruth.?Two weeks ago, after an 8-year battle,?Alzheimer’s took one of my best friend's Mom way too soon at 73.
If I could sum up Ruth in one word, it was VIVACIOUS!?She was fit, gorgeous, fun, and she lit up every room. She was Sarah’s maid of honor at her wedding and the kind of mother a girl dreams of having.
On the day I heard of Ruth’s passing, I serendipitously received the video I’m sharing with you today.??It’s a clip from a talk I gave for?Leadercast ?in October, the month of her Mom’s last birthday.??I did not intend to share this story on the day of this talk, yet I felt something bigger was asking me to do it anyway. So I did.?
Rest in paradise, Ruth.??You were oh, so loved.
