A Tribute to My Father

As Fathers Day approaches, I'm extremely grateful for the Father I had who has made me into the person, and professional I am today. Above is a letter my Father wrote which my sister and I now call today, "The Letter to Jesus". This letter was found as my sister and I were cleaning out our Father's personal items from his home after he passed away. Our Father wrote many of his thoughts on paper, never to be seen by anyone. This letter describes who our Father was, and more importantly, what influence and the profound impact he had on our family, and all those who came in contact with him throughout his life. (Dad, I give and love without conditions like you did. I love with a profound love for each individual just like you did. I'm grateful for everything, and give generously as you did with no expectation of receiving anything in return just like you did.)
I will never come close to being the individual my Father was, but I strive to come as close as I can every day of whatever time left here on earth I have. I miss him every day and wish I could have one more Father's Day with him on earth. Until I get to Heaven, it will have to wait........I love you Dad, your son, Ben.
