Trespassing User’s Privacy by Social Media Websites

A video alleged to have been shot by a Police Inspector in Maharashtra, is going viral. The said Inspector has not made any great discovery -- all the information being repeated by him (plus much more information) is already displayed by Facebook itself under its 'FAQ'.
No Social Media website can give us, forever, Free Services. So, when they get a sizable Membership and a large database about such Members' Habits about internet surfing &/or exploring certain advertisements (advts) then these social media sites (e.g. Facebook etc) share these data with other Companies -- for 'targeted marketing'; this data is collected through cookies, clicks on displayed advts, our browsing history, etc.
But, by and large, our passwords on those websites whose URL begins with https:// (i.e. with an 's' after http) are encrypted and, therefore, these passwords cannot be stolen by Facebook etc -- unless you 'Save' your passwords on your computer or mobile; hence, please do not click on 'Remember Password’.
Please also do not use your Facebook credentials (viz. User Name, Password etc) to log into any site other than Facebook itself -- the same rule applies to all other social media websites; while using your email as a User Name on sites other than your Mail-Service Provider, please do not use the same password which you had used to Log into your email provider.
Normally, a cookie cannot find 'clicks' in 'Password' fields -- unless the hacker has mapped the entire webpage (which is easy) and noted down the exact grid location of the pixels underlying the ‘Password’ field. During Web-Designing, I created clickable grid-locations to use pictures as hyperlinks, instead of using the usual tables & boxes.
CAUTION: (1) IF you click on 'Clear History' in Facebook’s Settings, then your saved passwords, bookmarks etc might also be deleted -- so, first note down your passwords etc, before deleting the same. In any case, Advts will continue to be shown -- even after clicking ‘Clear History’ tab. (2) IF you had used your Facebook (FB) credentials to Log-into certain other Apps (e.g. 'Twoo'), then by Turning-off Facebook Activity, you will be Logged out of these Apps.
FB allows you to Download your information with FB -- go to FB's FAQ, and search for the relevant Links.
