Trends for Metaverse in 2023 vol.1

Welcome in 2023 – the new challenging year, from which is expecting lot of new changes and updates in the world of VR and metaverse. While we had experience a lot of VR/AI and Metaverse arrivals ideas in 2022, we are still wating for some of the concepts in a new year. Deloitte already said, that 2023 will be the year of VR, so let's see, what we are heading to.

Headsets

There have been viral speculations around two most expected headsets in 2023. Lets move to them.

HTC Vive

Official information from HTC Vive has been released last year “At CES 2023 in January, HTC will introduce a slim VR AR headset that is supposed to compete with the Meta Quest (Pro). Now we got the first official picture.” So it looks like, we will found out soon the result. The company hinted that the upcoming device could be a mix of the slim Vive Flow headset, which requires an external player, and the higher-quality standalone Vive Focus 3. Vive Flow is a flop, Focus 3 is only sold to enterprises and arcades.

While HTC Vive finally released their headset, the Apple’s one is still just a rumour.
