When Spotify released their first yearly Wrapped, they changed the social media landscape. The annual tradition is now one of the most successful digital marketing campaigns ever, which means that every other company is looking to get in on the action. Enter: Instagram.

Instagram enjoys a long and storied history of stealing features from other apps and giving them their own twist. Now users will be able to create end-of-year wrap-up Reels with a new in-app template, complete with narration from Bad Bunny, DJ Khaled, Badshah, or Priah Ferguson.

Will these end-of-year Reels light up the Internet the way Spotify’s Wrapped does every year? No. However, it likely will start trending on the platform in the next few weeks, giving marketers a great opportunity to grow their reach.
