In the face of the ongoing environmental degradation that we face as a society, the global nonprofit “Trees for the Future” presents viable solutions for you - both as an individual and as a member of any organization. This amazing nonprofit organization focuses on the reforestation of deforested lands, community empowerment, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. By planting trees, this initiative heals our environment. And it does more than that: it addresses social and economic challenges in communities most affected by deforestation.??
The initiative also goes beyond environmental benefits by addressing socio-economic issues faced by communities most affected by deforestation. In many regions encountering deforestation, land degradation leads to poverty and food insecurity for local communities. Trees for the Future empowers farmers in these communities by providing them with training and resources to plant and manage their own sustainable gardens.??
We are proud to be partners with Trees for the Future - this partnership allows us to fully offset the environmental impact brought on by the print operations of our many customers.?
The program that Flex TG has established with Trees for the Future is customer-centric and allows for our clients to get directly involved in making a difference. Using paper consumption data that calculates the number of trees required to offset customer printing, a new tree is planted for every 8,333 sheets of paper printed. Through our partnership with Trees for the Future, we cover the costs of planting trees at project sites on behalf of our customers.?Flex TG then shares the impact with customers, and a certificate of reforestation is provided. As of today, Flex TG has directly contributed to the planting of 345,639 trees and counting!?
