Treetop Cabins is a conceptual design developed for a unique series of elevated cabins located along a steeply sloped land off Norton Bridge in the central hills of Sri Lanka. Overlooking the misty peaks of Seven Virgins mountain range, the cabins provide fascinating views and an unmatched, tranquil living experience.
The land has a level difference of 180 meters from the top (road access point) to the bottom. Such steep slopes makes conventional construction invasive, inefficient and uneconomical. The elevated cabins located on raised columns and steel support structures attempts at being minimally invasive while providing a unique experience to the guests.
