Tree Free Cups- Gimmick or Godsend ?

Next time you buy a coffee "to go" think about the cup that you are drinking out of. You will only use if for a few minutes. An estimated 20 million trees are cut down every year to produce disposable paper coffee cups. Here in Ireland it is estimated that 2 million single use cups make their way to landfill every day. Amazingly, if your business were to save 100 paper cups a day for a year you would save 60 trees. So next time you think of coffee check out if the cups are eco-friendly. A small change in behaviour that could result in a big difference to our landscape and that would be a god send !

One local Irish company is doing just that and it might just sow the seed of major change:

Well done Simon, good ideas like this help to save more trees for the benefit of the Environment including the present generation and the generations of people to come in the future.
