Dene National Chief candidate, former NWT MLA and cabinet minister, Norman Yakeleya, receiving his treaty payment from Canada today in Fort Smith.

It's only five bucks but many treaty first nations citizen appreciate being able to reaffirm their treaty status each year with the Queen in Right of Canada.
