WELCOME back to my newsletter! I hope you had an insightful Spring Equinox Day!
We know that in February there was a lot of talk about love and celebrating love in a couple. But, is it outdated to celebrate self-love daily?! Not at all, I dare to say! It is fundamentally necessary and more than healthy.
In a busy world, where we are often absorbed by responsibilities and various challenges, we forget to give ourselves the attention and love we deserve. External interactions and the expectations of others take on too much importance, and in this context, speaking to ourselves with kindness becomes essential to maintain our balance and well-being.
So, please stop and ask yourself, "When was the last time I said 'I love myself'?". A sincere self-evaluation can reveal whether we are taking the time to listen to our needs and recognise our worth, thawing ourselves from (self)imposed demands and refraining from following the world's standards.
Self-love is not a luxury, but a necessity.
Trying to make others happy while ignoring our own needs can lead to exhaustion and dissatisfaction. An important step towards self-love is recognizing our personal achievements. Often, we are so focused on accumulating new goals that we forget to celebrate our past successes. When you reach a goal or overcome a challenge, remember to congratulate yourself and say, "I love myself for the efforts made and the progress achieved."
Another essential component of self-love is accepting our imperfections. We are all human beings, with qualities and flaws. Accepting and loving those parts of ourselves that make us unique is a crucial step towards authentic self-love.
Adopting the habit of allocating time for self-reflection is a powerful way to express self-love. Through meditation, journaling, or simply contemplating life, we give ourselves the chance to deeply connect with our own thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

I invite you to grab your favorite drink, find your favorite song, and answer at least a few of the questions below (answering all would be great!):
It is essential to remember that self-love is not a selfish act but a healthy way to take care of ourselves so that we can give from our overflow to others. So, I suggest you pause for a moment and tell yourself today, "I love myself."
