Treat Your Employees the Same Way You Would Like to Be Treated | Ft. Trishneet Arora
As the world scrambled to get a grip on life during the COVID-19 pandemic, how did a large enterprise like TAC Security manage to keep its growth unhindered? What measures were taken to ensure that their employees were safe in such tumultuous times and what was done to ensure the delivery of promises to customers? Find out with us how Trishneet Arora , Founder and CEO at TAC Security , and one of the Top 100 Great People Managers of 2021 by Great Manager Institute? published in Forbes India, carried his team through and after the pandemic.
“My focus shifted towards keeping team spirits high when we started working from home.”
We hosted “Heroes of the Quarter”, under which all the team heads are asked to prepare team reports and nominate employees for various categories. The winners are awarded “Heroes of the Quarter” in the categories and are sent a token of appreciation in the manner of their favourite desserts and a hero trophy. The activity motivates the team to work harder and creates healthy competition among the team. It also helps them evolve their skills, dedication and progress.
“We continued our team traditions through video calls to keep everyone engaged.”?
The team at TAC Security continued their tradition of doing SWOT analysis through video calls where the individuals presented their analysis and goals and everyone including Trishneet would weigh in. This kind of simple analysis structure guided both internal and external factors. It allowed employees to have clarity, and get an understanding of how to navigate the new normal.
“Our activity of a monthly podcast allowed me to be in touch with my employees and understand what is going on in their minds.”?
This practice began during COVID when they realised the importance of being in touch with each other beyond the work calls and emails. The entire team would come together to discuss shared goals, milestones and targets.
