Treasure hunting in the US equity markets

While I may not have a particular affinity for the financial sector, I have found significant value in the practice of data mining to uncover hidden investment opportunities. Through my experience as a consultant to a quantitative fund on two occasions, I have become a staunch advocate for utilising data mining techniques to identify lucrative prospects that may have been overlooked by others.

Now, let's delve into the dataset below, which showcases remarkable fundamental strength according to various metrics and benchmarks.

The actual company that it represents is a complete unknown to me, given that

  • I am a UK resident
  • The company does not have a presence in the UK

There was enough information to act by the beginning of 2024 -- more than enough. Then look what happened.

Regarding NU's operations, it conducts a diversified banking operation of sorts. Personally, delving into the specifics of its activities doesn't captivate my interest. My focus lies solely on the fact that others find NU intriguing and are actively investing in its offerings.
