Toyota Motor Europe has teamed up with Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS) and ENGIE to develop next-generation hydrogen refuelling stations designed to meet the needs of both light and heavy-duty vehicles. The new Twin Mid Flow Technology will allow 40-tonne trucks to refuel for a 600km range in eight minutes, significantly reducing wait times while lowering installation costs. This innovation will support the EU's goal to establish hydrogen refuelling stations every 200km along the TEN-T network by 2030. The technology will be tested in the RHeaDHy project starting in late 2025, aiming to accelerate the deployment of cost-efficient and accessible hydrogen infrastructure across Europe.?
