TravelingWiki Engages with one of Ghana's Leading Autism Technologists & Innovators to Advance TravelingWiki's Work for the Autism community

TravelingWiki is traveling to engage with leading innovations. TravelingWiki had the opportunity to engage the renowned Dr. Rose-Mary Owusuaa Mensah Gyening, PhD , the First Female PhD Computer Science Graduate from KNUST, known for “Computer Science…& Assistive technologies for…underrepresented population(s), (&) HCI, HRI and ML”…as to her Autism-Focused Research entitled "Deep-Fuzzy Personalized Robot-Assisted Learning for Children with Autism," which was presented at what is arguably considered the leading AI conference in the world.

The Dr.'s research opines that "children who received...personalized lessons from...(her studied) robot(s), running (her) deep learning model, performed better in the post-tests. This confirms the positive effects of the deep learning-based personalization framework for the social robot."
