What would happen,

if we were to make friends with nature?

We would communicate with the trees, the leaves,

so fragile, so beautiful and so vulnerable.

We would see similarities between them and us:

Because, like us, they turn to the sun

and love the air with passion.

Like us, they change their shapes for it.

Then, in winter, the leaves would leave us.

So, we would try to keep them,

preserve their beauty and decorate them.

We would take our favorite leaves with us on walks.

Like friends, we would show them the beauty of nature.

Eventually, we would realize that they are superior to us.

For we are dependent on them.

They form the climate that surrounds us.

Perhaps then we would finally listen to them.
