Travel the World with Atlas Mission

Travel the World with Atlas Mission

When was the first time you wanted to travel the world? When did you want to go to the banks of the river Nile, swim across the Atlantic or watch the sky turn blue-green with the Northern Lights?

Our first memory of travelling the world is when we saw photographs on a wall calendar of Mount Fuji. That still remains a distant dream.?

Now imagine the reality for children from underserved backgrounds in India. The Oxfam Survival of the Richest Report, 2023 says that India’s 1% owned more than 40% of the wealth in 2021. The bottom half of the population accounted for only 3% of the total wealth.?

Children from underserved communities rarely get the chance to travel. To explore the world. To learn cultures and languages. To become rounded and well-developed individuals through experiences. Learning and growing through travel is an integral part of growth and development.?

Curricular education is as important as extra-curricular education. Not only is it important for children to learn numeracy and literacy, but also communication, reasoning, problem-solving and critical thinking. The Indian education system is not equipped to provide children from marginalised communities with the skill-based learning they need for the 21st century.?

Enter Atlas Mission. Atlas Mission is a game-based self-learning educational supplement to curricular learning. With Atlas Mission, children get to travel the world, understand different cultures, and learn different languages - all through a game. Now, we want to make learning fun, adventurous and exciting for children from underserved communities.?
