Travel Tech Unfolded: Women’s Edition
Hi there,?
Travel–and the technology that supports travel products and services–is largely run and made successful by the contributions of women+.
Please note: We use the term women+ to refer to any individual who identifies as a woman or with femininity, including non-binary individuals.
A recent World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) report found that the Hospitality sector employs more women than any other sector, from on-the-ground suppliers and tour leaders to founders of travel and travel-technology businesses.?
Fun fact – while women+ ongoingly contribute to WeTravel’s Academy and the content we produce for our 30,000+ newsletter readers–Travel Tech Unfolded is monthly designed by an all-women team. We’re thrilled to use Women’s History Month as an opportunity to further share top travel tech innovations, bylines and resources – by women+, for the travel industry.
What's Women's History Month?
A month dedicated to celebrating and acknowledging the many historical, cultural and societal contributions of women+, annually observed since 1987. As such–and due to our ongoing commitment at WeTravel–the space in this month’s newsletter is entirely dedicated to women+ in the travel industry, from their bylines to their businesses.?
