Travel over Work?

Travel over Work?

Remember, if you or your family and or friends are looking to buy, sell, and/or invest contact me, I love to help others achieve their real estate goals.

Here is a great article discussing travel and work after school. The conventional method of life is LEARN....WORK...RELAX within School...Job...Retirement...

But how often do we see or hear of another who never got to the relax part? Or if lived to retirement, illness prevents them to enjoy?

I think of a client from a couple of years ago who sold his home to enjoy his retirement in the Florida sun, golfing all year round. The excitement on his face as we started the process of selling his home, going under contract, finally he getting into his car (packed like a college student returning home) to go straight from the closing to I95 and Florida. Just a matter or weeks he discovered he had a brain tumor, and within months he passed away. Robbed from the third part of the conventional trilogy of life.

So why not switch it up? Shouldn't we always be learning? Always be relaxing? Always be working to achieve? Why can't it be...

LEARN...WORK...RELAX...LEARN...WORK...RELAX....

Here is a great article from Forbes. Generation Y seems to have a better grasp on this... we should LEARN from them...
