Travel Exceptionally

We all know that familiar feeling: you get off your flight after a long travel day, take an Uber to a hotel that you saw and booked online, and walk up to the front desk to find that somehow they never received your booking—or maybe your check-in is a breeze—and you make it to your room and open the door only to realize that nothing is as you saw in the picture.?
When the pandemic was at an all-time high, hotels struggled to provide guests with a 5-star experience, which caused a wave of uncertainty to rush over the hospitality industry as guests started to flat-out hate staying at hotels.
Fast forward three years, and here we are with AI being utilized to solve all our problems. While being surrounded by innovation and technology is enthralling, I can’t help but feel like all of the best parts of hospitality will be lost by relying too much on technology and as a result, distilling the traveler experience down to a set of pre-programmed options and choices that lack personalization and connection.
AI chatbots replacing customer service and trip itineraries being made by ChatGPT take all of the magic away from finding the perfect destination, from picking the room with the bed fit for royalty, or someone recommending that little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that has the best views of the city.?
So, if hotels leave us missing a sense of connection and lacking the cultural immersion that many of us crave so deeply, what does that leave us with?
The answer is simple: Villas!!!
Finding the perfect villa for your stay is like placing that last missing piece to the puzzle you’ve stared at for weeks. It gives you privacy, space, personalization, security, and almost every extra amenity you can think of—everything you dream about when planning a vacation is right there at your fingertips.?
Getting some of the practicalities out of the way, booking villas is also incredibly cost-effective compared to hotels, especially for those magnificent group getaways that make for some of the best memories.?

At even the best hotels, you will still feel like a guest. Hotels have more customers than they do staff, so not everyone who walks through the door will get the same kind of greeting, where they know your name and offer a smile. When I think about my best trips, they’re the ones where I feel my value as a customer, and not just through a “thanks for your stay!” email. Part of the allure of booking a villa is that it’s meant to feel like your place, with staff that caters to every fantasy and amenities that fit your specific needs.?
While I could list a million benefits to staying in a villa, the most important is it fulfills that yearning for the perfect blend of wanderlust and comfort. Specifically at Lacure, our goal is to pick the perfect destination and villa for what the travel bug in you needs.?
Want a relaxing and ethereal getaway on the coast? We’ve got you covered. Prefer something more family-friendly with an activity in it for everyone? The best villas offer that, too.?
The point is villas give us the kind of personalization that we all deserve—not just want— when we travel. While hotels may have different names and layouts, they are all still hotels: with a lobby, mediocre bar, hard beds and pillows too soft, with okay views (if you’re lucky!), and the same cookie-cutter pictures.?
Villas are the present and future of travel—they are what will inspire us all to be thrill seekers and give us the chance we deserve to have customized trips that bring our every whim to life.?
Instead of settling on your vacations, travel exceptionally.?
