Trauma, Mental Health & Jobs Are More Correlated Than We Think

Two years ago, I met Tom Gimbel, Founder and CEO of LaSalle Network. Tom then hosted me at the Ounce of Prevention Fund Gala Luncheon where I heard Dr. Nadine Burke Harris give a powerful speech.

Little did I know that this speech and event will motivate me to keep trucking forward two years later.

Employers are having trouble finding entry-level talent. Chicago and many cities are facing a crisis in our most precious neighborhoods. At Solve, we are starting to view the lack of soft skills and job skills as a workforce problem that relates to mental health.
