this concept came from Nooteboom Trailers, a Dutch company about 23yrs ago.. and used in Japan onshore project.. Goldhofer, a German company further developed it in 2012 and so did Scheuerle in 2017.. but in recent years such solution has been widely used in China for 80-100m long blades' transport over complex terrain.. if you take an eagle view of one onshore wind project in China which includes 3x40EA blades transport over 3800km, it looks like many ants transporting leaves.. very spectacular scene!!
